we had a good time on the fourth minus the fireworks. for the first time in like, forever, the fireworks were rescheduled. it was so windy that i dont blame them one bit. anyway we went to a friends house and still had a cookout. the kids had a great time as usual and they were all playing together wonderfully. i think there were about 13 children running around. it was very nice.
they had the fireworks the next night on the beach and we ended up at the same friends house and had leftovers. the finale was wonderful, as usual and the kids were mesmerized for about 20 min.
we decieded that since the next town had theirs rescheduled for the next night that we would go to those also. whats better than fourth of july twice? we went to these with my mother, her 2 smaller kids and my neighbors, while they werent nearly as entertaining as the beach, it was a nice night out.
ill posdt the pics my daughter took with her camera after i get them together and see if there are any that are salvagable….lol
yay! im finally home from my awesome trip to aruba. i had so much fun! it was great. im gonna try to put some pics up from the past month. i have tried several times, but my internet sucks so the page usually times out before it loads. so anyway here it goes…..
for two days i have left my camera at work. i guess that means i have to go tomorrow, on a saturday, to go get it. maybe. well anyway, i will have to post random pics that hopefully are pretty recent

that maybe it would be best if i just turned this site into a photo blog. hell, my life isnt that interesting. its the same old bs everyday, or its so much drama that i would rather not repeat it. since i love to take pictures and i have countless amounts, thats what ill do.
so here is my first new post. i dedicate this one to the beach. me and the kids went to the beach for a couple hours on memorial day. it was nice and peaceful and i didnt have to yell once. i think they get stir crazy in the house. we dont have much room here and they really cant “escape” eachother. so here at the beach they had a great time playing together, running about and just admiring the ocean.
so me and maia went on a fabulous girl scout camping trip! maia did such a great job and we had the greatest weekend together. she interacted with the other kids and really enjoyed herself. she seems to be coming out of her shell lately. there was a spring concert last week at school and normally she doesnt ever get “into” it. she actually sang her heart out and did the little dances and everything! im so proud of her. she tries me sometimes but she is the best. shes an awesome child and i love spending time with her. especially when its one on one. shes got a great heart and shes such a joy to be around. anyway back to camping, we stayed at a girl scout camp site in a lodge and made fires and had smores and roasted hotdogs and so, so much more! im so glad for times like these and i treasure them so much.
i have deceided that i am gonna have a try at this again. things have been a little crazy but thats no excuse. so anyway my daughter went to the dentist today. im ashamed to admit this was her FIRST visit, but there were complications the last time i tried to take her. the dentist office was awesome! they were so nice and gentle with her, although the dentist did say that she has never seen a child with a mouth so sensitive. i think maia said ow everytime the dentist touched her. anyway i will get a phone call as to when her next appt will be. hopefully it will be soon so we can get those cavitities filled.
oh i got jaden the cutest little easter outfit and maia got the sweetest dress. i cant wait to dress them up! im hoping i can get my ass into gear tomorrow and get their pics taken. im wondering……how old is too old for the easter bunny? im still not quite sure if i wanna do the easter bunny or the picture people. im not quite sure how maia is gonna feel sitting on an easter bunnys lap. i might have to ask
i cannot believe that christmas is in 7 days!! this just totally baffles me. while i usually dont get too freaked out and jumpy when it starts getting close, this year im buggin a little. i havent really done anything at all!! im sure i can get it all together by sun, but its just the rushing and trying not to forget anyone, etc. im gonna have to make a plan and stick to it. i always end up running out of money and not people..lol.
i have also been having a very stressful couple of weeks. i think my nerves are almost shot and i feel so sick because of everything thats going on. this is such a busy time of year and there are so many wants and needs that i have to single handedly fill. its got to be one of the hardest times of the year. esp. with two kids in school this year. wow! they are gonna run me ragged (school) with all their crap goin on.
i absolutley love this time of year but sometimes i just cant wait for everything to calm down.
i do have a christmas party (another one!) to go to this week and i cant wait! its gonna be so much fun
